DOUBLE GAUZE DOBBY - RED CLAY

Lightweight and soft, this double gauze consists of two layers of 100% cotton fabric connected by small stitches. The special feature of this double gauze is the ivory polyester thread that runs through it in regular stitches, adding a touch of artisanal embroidery to the fabric. Additionally, this polyester thread accentuates the textured effect: while cotton will shrink when washed, polyester will not, allowing the double gauze base to gain even more volume after washing!

Thanks to its double thickness and natural fiber, this fabric is perfect for regulating body temperature, whether in winter for warmth or in summer for a refreshing feel.

Double gauze is ideal for making lightweight clothing for adults and children, such as dresses, pants, blouses, baby, and children's clothing, as well as pajamas, loungewear, and accessories (pouches, bags, scrunchies, scarves, etc.). Please note that it's essential to wash the fabric before cutting it, as it may shrink by 5 to 10% on the first wash. However, it will also gain more volume, which is why we love it. For even more volume, dry it in the dryer rather than hanging it up.
