Charlie is the ideal fabric to make a shacket, that hybrid garment between a shirt and a jacket. This fabric is thicker than flannel but thinner than regular coating fabric. You can make a nice loose-fitting overshirt to complement your fall and winter ensembles. The Charlie wool is brushed on one side, which offers a softer feel.
